You will develop and execute a vision for the evolution of the machine learning technology stack within Ads, building cutting-edge technology using deep learning and machine learning to personalize Pinterest and connect Pinners with partners.

Requirements

• 2+ years industry experience applying ML methods
• Degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, or related field
• End-to-end hands-on experience with data processing pipelines, large scale ML systems, and big data technologies
• Practical knowledge of large scale recommender systems or modern ads ranking, retrieval, targeting, marketplace systems
• Nice to have: publications at top ML conferences or experience with AI coding assistants

Responsibilities

• Build cutting edge technology using latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize Pinterest
• Partner with teams to improve ML models for various product surfaces
• Use data driven methods and leverage data properties to improve candidate retrieval
• Work in high-impact environment with quick experimentation and product launches
• Leverage LLMs to enhance content understanding
