💼 About This Role

You'll take end-to-end ownership of people processes at a fast-growing AI startup, ensuring smooth onboarding, payroll, and compliance. You'll be the go-to for employee questions and drive operational excellence through automation. This role lets you shape a world-class employee experience at a company backed by top-tier VCs.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Run employee lifecycle: onboarding, contracts, payroll, benefits, offboarding
• Answer employee and manager questions on policies and processes
• Ensure compliance with German labor law and support other locations
• Coordinate with Finance and Legal on employment changes and vendor management

📋 Requirements

• 3-4 years in People Operations or HR Administration, ideally startup/scale-up
• 1-2 years hands-on payroll across Germany, UK, Netherlands
• Strong understanding of employment types (full-time, freelance, fixed-term, working student)
• Solid grasp of German employment law and HR compliance

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with other European regulations
• Proficiency with Hibob, Deel, Personio or similar HRIS
