💼 About This Role
You'll lead a multi-shift aerospace technician team through the transition from low-rate initial production to high-volume manufacturing. You'll own daily assembly execution, ensure AS9100 and FAA compliance, and drive continuous improvement through Lean methodologies. This role is the critical bridge between Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver flight-ready hardware.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Recruit, mentor, and build a high-accountability technician culture
- Lead daily stand-ups and shift handovers to meet program milestones
- Refine MES routings and optimize workflows using Lean methods
- Monitor production KPIs like first-pass yield and on-time delivery
📋 Requirements
- 10+ years of aerospace experience with 5+ years in supervisory role
- Deep expertise in full aircraft assembly and avionics integration
- Proven track record in NPI scaling from prototype to high-volume manufacturing
- Expert-level knowledge of AS9100 and FAA airworthiness requirements
✨ Nice to Have
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Background in high-voltage systems and electric motor integration for eVTOL
- Mastery of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
