💼 About This Role

You'll own the architectural vision for how Auth0 is experienced across DX, UX, and AX, ensuring consistency whether the builder is a human or an AI agent. You'll shape developer-facing SDKs, APIs, and documentation while building agent skills and guardrails for AI-assisted development. This role offers a dual charter to level up both the tech stack and people stack through hands-on implementation and mentoring.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and drive architectural vision for DX, UX, and AX across Auth0 products
• Identify inconsistencies and establish patterns for unified experience
• Design SDKs and APIs for both human and agent consumers
• Build agent skills, guardrails, and contextual tooling

📋 Requirements

• 15-20 years of experience in software engineering
• Deep experience designing developer-facing products like SDKs, APIs, CLIs
• Strong point of view on developer experience (DX) with ability to fix shortfalls
• Knowledge of identity protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience contributing to or maintaining open source SDKs
• Familiarity with structured documentation for LLM consumption (llms.txt, OpenAPI)
• Frontend or full-stack development experience in developer tooling
