Description

You will serve as the primary technical interface between K2 Space, customers, and partners to integrate advanced payload capabilities onto satellite buses, supporting the full program lifecycle from proposals through on-orbit operations. Your work will ensure successful mission execution by defining and negotiating payload interfaces and leading customer engagement.

Requirements

• Strong multi-disciplinary engineering skills
• Hands-on experience with payload integration
• Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with National Security customers
• Ability to support entire program lifecycle
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Manage payload integration across full satellite lifecycle from proposal through on-orbit commissioning
• Serve as primary customer interface for payload integration, leading technical discussions and design reviews
• Develop, maintain, and negotiate payload interface control documentation
• Define mechanical, electrical, software, power, and mission interfaces
• Create and execute payload interface verification plans
