Description

You will drive premium growth for Counterpart's Lawyers Professional Liability (LPL) products by performing risk analysis, underwriting accounts, and building broker relationships. Collaborating with engineering, design, data, and operations teams, you'll help shape the LPL digital workflow and establish Counterpart as a leading market.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of underwriting experience in Lawyers Professional Liability or related line
• Network of brokers/clients in professional liability insurance
• Expertise in specialty liability products (rating, policy forms, endorsements)
• Proven track record achieving monthly/quarterly/annual targets
• College degree with 4+ years relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed underwriting performance and revenue goals for the LPL segment
• Price LPL accounts competitively in accordance with guidelines
• Manage quote-related communication and serve as underwriting resource to brokers
• Collaborate with senior underwriters on complex LPL accounts
• Represent Counterpart at broker meetings and industry events
