💼 About This Role

You'll lead income tax compliance and tax provisions for Oscar Health, a full stack technology platform insurer. You'll manage tax returns, audits, and planning while developing department strategy. This role offers unlimited vacation and a hybrid schedule in Tempe, AZ.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage annual and quarterly tax GAAP and Statutory tax provision processes
• Review U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns and estimates
• Ensure integrity of tax accounting using technology solutions
• Manage tax responses to audits and notices

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 4 years commensurate experience
• 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax
• Strong knowledge in ASC 740
• 3+ years experience as a team leader

✨ Nice to Have

• CPA and/or Master's of Taxation
• SSAP 101 reporting experience
• Tax provision software implementation experience
