Description

You will manage utility interconnection applications, provide technical expertise on standards and requirements, and collaborate with internal teams to develop and commission renewable energy designs. Your work will directly support cost optimization and project success in the clean energy sector.

Requirements

• 3+ years relevant experience in interconnection or related activities with utility, solar developer, or RTO
• Strong knowledge of industry design codes (NEC, IBC, IFC, etc.)
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD software
• Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Salesforce, Teams, Power BI, SharePoint)

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of utility interconnection applications from submission to closeout
• Perform detailed review and interpretation of technical documentation, utility applications, and studies
• Prepare interconnection cost estimation and hosting capacity map analyses
• Provide expert technical advice during study reviews and internal recommendations
• Act as technical consulting support during negotiations and disputes on project timelines and costs
