💼 About This Role

You'll own the product vision and roadmap for Vanta's Identity & Access Management platform, shaping how users authenticate and authorize across a complex customer base from startups to federal agencies. Your core impact will be driving the User Model split and Ownership 3.0 to scale permissions for enterprise and government markets. This high-autonomy role directly influences Vanta's authorization strategy and cross-team dependencies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the IAM product vision and roadmap
• Drive the User Model split to completion
• Define Ownership 3.0 with role-based permissions
• Shape Vanta's authorization strategy proactively

📋 Requirements

• 8-12+ years of product management experience
• 3-4 years at Staff/Senior level in platform or infrastructure roles
• Experience with enterprise platform PM on permissions, RBAC, or identity systems
• Strong systems thinking across authentication, authorization, and identity

• Experience with policy engines (Oso, OPA, Cedar)
• Background in GRC, compliance, or security-adjacent products
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures
