💼 About This Role

You'll support the production of mission-critical hardware for advanced defense applications, working on the manufacturing floor with operations, design, and quality teams. You'll own the end-to-end process for complex 3D metal parts—from material selection to multi-axis CNC programming—directly impacting cost, quality, and delivery. This hands-on role involves solving complex machining challenges and seeing your work translate into real hardware.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Support day-to-day manufacturing operations on a CNC machining floor
  • Translate engineering designs into fully defined manufacturing processes
  • Develop and optimize multi-axis CNC programs for complex metal components
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure manufacturability and quality

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting CNC machining of metal components
  • Strong experience developing multi-axis (4+ axis) CNC programs for tight-tolerance parts
  • Proficiency interpreting and applying GD&T and engineering drawings

✨ Nice to Have

  • 5-axis CNC programming experience
  • Proficiency with NX CAM
  • Experience with Vericut, Cimco Edit, or similar NC validation tools
