Description

As a Senior Associate Intern at Charles River Associates, you will work on live client consulting projects in a team-oriented environment, applying economic and quantitative research skills to complex business and litigation matters. You will assist in developing expert reports and white papers, perform regression analyses, and act as a point of contact for clients. This 10-week program is designed to mirror the Senior Associate experience and may lead to a full-time offer.

Requirements

• PhD in economics with completion between December 2026 and Summer 2028.
• Academic focus on quantitative research (industrial organization, applied microeconomics, econometrics, labor, health, IP, etc.).
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and programming languages.
• Experience in Excel, Stata, Python, R.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in a team-oriented environment alongside academics, industry experts, and regulators.
• Identify and conceptualize issues, support complex economic models, and analyze data.
• Assist in developing client deliverables including expert reports and white papers.
• Act as a point of contact for attorneys and government clients on practice-relevant issues.
• Program, build models, and perform regression analyses using Stata, SAS, Python, R, Matlab, or Mathematica.
