Description

In this role, you will own production quality and reliability for Starlink user terminal manufacturing, ensuring high-volume consumer products meet stringent standards. You will drive root cause analysis, process improvements, and defect reductions, forming the backbone for millions of devices used globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in engineering, math, or science (or HS diploma + 2 years hands-on experience in engineering/reliability/manufacturing/quality)
• Experience in hardware root cause investigation and containment in manufacturing
• Familiarity with J-STD-001 Class 2, IPC-A-610 Class 2 or equivalent hardware standards

Responsibilities

• Execute production non-conformance management (MRB, vendor defects, quality audits, containments)
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions for defects
• Monitor first pass yield and true yield to maintain stable production
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and scrap
• Support transition of products from development to high-volume production
