💼 About This Role

You'll own the systems that protect patient data: access control, audit logging, data retention, and compliance infrastructure for health systems across the country. You'll design least-privilege access and build audit infrastructure that withstands compliance scrutiny. This role directly enables sales into demanding enterprise health systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement granular RBAC across the application
• Enforce least-privilege policies and build PHI access justification workflows
• Ensure comprehensive audit logging across all PHI touchpoints
• Build data retention and de-identification pipelines for multi-modal clinical data

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering, 2+ focused on security, privacy, or compliance infrastructure
• Staff-level scope with cross-cutting initiatives and technical direction influence
• Strong backend fundamentals in Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Experience building access control systems, audit infrastructure, or data lifecycle pipelines

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with SIEM integration
• Knowledge of healthcare data regulations (HIPAA)
• Background in de-identification of clinical data
