Description

You will support the development of new RF products, including Rocket Lab's radio product line, by designing and simulating RF products like the Frontier-Lite Radio. This role involves defining requirements, prototyping, and collaborating with test and manufacturing engineers to drive product introduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or RF communications with 5+ years of experience
• U.S. citizenship required
• Fundamental RF knowledge including cascaded device analysis, link budget analysis, and HFSS
• Experience developing and delivering RF products from requirements to space-worthy products
• Solid understanding of RF communications and navigation systems and components

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain requirements specifications for RF products
• Design and prototype RF products including component selection and PCB layout
• Support development of test plans and procedures
• Support development of product documentation such as ICDs and User Manuals
• Provide technical support to internal/external customers and troubleshoot anomalies
