Description

You will join the prototyping team to manufacture metal and plastic parts, evaluate drawings, and operate fabricating machines. Your role is critical to maintaining production schedules and ensuring high-quality outputs for innovative electrical distribution systems.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of fabrication experience, preferably in mixed metal fabrication
• 1-2 years of experience or training in document control
• Forklift certified
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously; stand/walk 90% of the time

Responsibilities

• Analyze diagrams and engineering drawings for correctness and manufacturability
• Collaborate to document and fix errors; identify opportunities to simplify techniques
• Set up and operate fabricating machines (press brake, laser/punch, CNC router) for various metals
• Manufacture metal and plastic parts to specifications and schedules
• Accurately utilize measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, 3D scanners)
