Description

You will own the supply chain for complex optical hardware, partnering with engineering and managing contract manufacturers to ensure reliable, cost-effective supply from prototype to production. This role spans sourcing strategy, negotiation, and market analysis for optical subsystems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related technical field
• 8+ years experience in strategic sourcing/procurement with global supply chains
• Deep understanding of optical systems and manufacturing
• Experience managing contract manufacturers for complex high-reliability products
• Strong analytical and cost modeling skills, including should-cost analysis

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering to develop sourcing strategies for optical components and contract manufacturers
• Manage supply chain from prototype through production readiness
• Capture NRE, tooling, capital equipment, and material costs; negotiate pricing and terms
• Draft and finalize legal agreements securing pricing, capacity, and quality commitments
• Track global market conditions and identify supply/demand challenges
