Description

You will own and manage the firm's multi-state tax and regulatory compliance function, serving as the internal subject matter expert on state tax, business entity compliance, and regulatory filing requirements. This role involves ensuring full compliance with state and municipal registration, licensing, and tax obligations, and working closely with external advisors and the accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Manage state tax and regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions
• Oversee state business registrations, licenses, permits, and entity filings
• Track annual reports, renewals, and compliance filings
• Maintain compliance with state income, sales/use, payroll, and franchise taxes
• Research state-specific tax requirements for new activities or jurisdictions
