💼 About This Role

You'll partner with design teams and suppliers to deliver high-quality composite assemblies for autonomous air vehicle programs like Fury. Your core impact is driving supplier quality readiness and eliminating risk across the product lifecycle. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic supplier development in a fast-paced defense tech environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with design teams to provide DFM feedback and generate product data for composite assemblies.
• Drive supplier quality development through design reviews, process development, and qualification.
• Own elimination of supplier risk via audits, readiness reviews, and RCCA activities.
• Lead source inspection and supplier corrective actions (SCAR) to improve quality reliability.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Materials Science, or similar technical field.
• Composite assemblies and mechanical sub-assembly manufacturing experience for aerospace.
• Experience scaling supplier capabilities from prototype to high-rate production.
• Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 QMS and AS9102 First Article Inspection.

• AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification
• Experience with defense suppliers and ITAR regulations.
• Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and GD&T.
