💼 About This Role

You'll design and build scalable backend services for quantum control infrastructure. You'll own the compiler stack bridging high-level quantum programs to physical QPU execution. This role combines systems-level programming with direct quantum hardware experimentation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and optimize scalable backend services in Python
• Maintain and evolve the OpenQASM3 + OpenPulse compiler stack
• Collaborate with researchers to translate experiments into production code
• Validate compiler output through real QPU experiments

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software development experience with Python
• Experience with quantum hardware control systems or pulse-level programming
• Familiarity with Python web frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI)

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with formal language design (LL(*) or PEG parsers) and compiler theory
• Experience with Python extension modules using C++ or Rust
