Description

As a Senior Accountant at Plume, you will own the month-end close process, prepare key journal entries and reconciliations, build KPI dashboards, and partner cross-functionally to turn data into actionable insights for a fast-growing global business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred).
• 2–6+ years of accounting experience in SaaS/technology or high-growth environments (Big 4 a plus).
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge with hands-on month-end close, consolidations, and management reporting; working knowledge of ASC 606.
• Proficiency with ERP and reporting tools: NetSuite preferred; SFDC, Looker/Tableau/Power BI, advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
• Excellent analytical, storytelling, and communication skills; attention to detail and deadlines; comfortable in dynamic global organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close: prepare JEs, reconcile balance sheet accounts, maintain revenue/deferral schedules across multiple entities and geographies.
• Produce management reporting package: consolidate financials, flux analyses, and commentary for Finance leadership and Board-level materials.
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Sales/Legal, and Data/IT on reporting, deal terms, and ERP/BI enhancements; identify automation opportunities.
• Prepare revenue-related reporting under ASC 606 including SSP analyses and contract asset/liability roll-forwards.
• Prepare and file sales/use/VAT/GST returns, reconcile tax GLs, support audits, and drive automation with tax engine/ERP.
