Description

As an intern, you will work on cutting-edge data and AI/ML initiatives to improve metal additive manufacturing. You'll organize large datasets, develop Python scripts for data pipelines, create tools for human dataset labeling, and apply machine learning algorithms to analyze sensor data for process optimization.

Requirements

• Masters, PhD, or Postdoctoral program in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or Materials Science
• Functional familiarity with Python scripting
• Familiarity with data analysis and machine learning concepts
• Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Organize and structure large datasets of machine and process data
• Develop data cleaning/preprocessing pipelines and storage solutions
• Write Python scripts to automate ETL processes
• Design tools for collecting, storing, and validating human-labeled datasets
• Apply machine learning algorithms to analyze sensor data and identify patterns
