You'll lead the tax function at Avantus, a utility-scale clean energy developer, providing strategic tax advice to support 5 GW of solar and battery storage projects. You'll be responsible for maximizing renewable energy tax incentives and ensuring compliance with prevailing wage requirements.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide tax advice for utility-scale solar and storage projects
• Maximize use of renewable energy tax incentives
• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements
• Support tax equity financing and project finance modeling

📋 Requirements

• J.D. or C.P.A.
• 10-15+ years of progressive tax experience
• Extensive experience in renewable energy industry
• Experience with partnership taxation and tax credit initiatives

• L.L.M. or Masters in Taxation
• Background in accounting for income taxes
