💼 About This Role

You'll join the Trust & Safety squad at Resend, a growing email platform, as the first Data Analyst. Your core impact is identifying abuse patterns and building scalable detection systems to protect good senders. This role offers high autonomy in a fully remote startup environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Root-cause investigations of unexpected events or spikes
• Define, instrument, and monitor key trust & safety metrics
• Build dashboards for real-time visibility into policy violations
• Analyze signal effectiveness: precision, recall, drift, overlap

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years in data or analytics roles (ideally security/fraud/trust & safety)
• Fluent in SQL and data tooling (Looker, Mode, Metabase, BI)
• Comfortable with large event/data sets
• Strong sense of measurement to drive decisions

• Experience with prediction and classification models
• Familiarity with estimation, sampling, statistical validation
