Description

In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical authority in fire protection engineering, combining hands-on expertise with client engagement. You'll lead complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive business growth by delivering innovative, compliant fire safety solutions.

Requirements

• Background in fire engineering, preferably within consultancy
• Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering or related discipline (e.g., Mechanical Engineering)
• 8+ years experience in fire protection engineering including design review, inspections, commissioning
• Strong understanding of fire and life safety codes and standards
• Ability to mentor and manage junior professionals

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical awareness of fire industry developments and provide briefings
• Guide fire engineering professionals and deliver complex solutions for large construction projects
• Control project financial targets, develop client relationships, and drive technical excellence
• Lead discussions with design teams, building control, and fire service; attend industry conferences
• Mentor graduate engineers and support colleagues across projects
