💼 About This Role

You'll support students with disabilities in grades K-4, building relationships and ensuring their safety and engagement in lessons. You'll collaborate with teachers and parents to create a welcoming learning environment. This role is crucial for student success at the Lansing School District.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Support students with special needs one-on-one or in small groups
• Prioritize tasks as assigned by teachers and school leaders
• Ensure safety of students on caseload
• Build relationships with students and parents

📋 Requirements

• Associate's Degree or 60 college credits or passing ETS Paraprofessional Exam

✨ Nice to Have

• Previous experience with students in RTI settings
• Understanding of IEP documents
• Desire to become a certified teacher
