💼 About This Role

You'll lead the architecture and development of Go microservices for an Identity Threat Detection & Response platform, ingesting high-volume signals and automating responses. You'll bridge distributed systems and cybersecurity to build the foundation for future ML models. This role is remote and offers high visibility within a growing security engineering team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead architecture and design of new Go microservices.
• Build the decision engine consuming data from Kafka in milliseconds.
• Design API responses with deep threat context for IT admins.
• Own production services, define SLIs/SLOs, and manage database performance.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years backend software development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Go (Golang) with concurrency patterns and memory management.
• Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka, Kinesis, or SQS.
• Database fluency in Postgres and Redis/DynamoDB.

✨ Nice to Have

• Stream processing experience with Apache Flink or Spark Streaming.
• SOC/SIEM empathy and understanding of security operations concepts.
• Exposure to authentication standards like OAuth, OIDC, SAML.
