💼 About This Role

You'll lead consumer and product narrative development for OpenAI in India, translating product updates into stories that resonate with local audiences. You'll drive media engagement and influencer relations to build excitement without hype. This role is based in Mumbai and reports to the India Communications lead.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop India-specific narratives for OpenAI's consumer tools.
• Drive media engagement and create comms assets like briefs and FAQs.
• Support influencer ecosystem engagement and product launches.
• Manage cross-functional stakeholder alignment and internal reporting.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of communications experience with consumer narratives in India.
• Strong writing and editing skills for complex topics.
• Experience with executive communications and product/consumer moments.
• Deep understanding of India's media and influencer landscape.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience communicating tech products (consumer internet, AI).
• Background in corporate communications or crisis management.
• Familiarity with OpenAI's tools beyond basic ChatGPT use.
