Description

You will support the Varsity Head Coach in developing student-athletes through swimming, managing practices and meets, and fostering sportsmanship and teamwork. This role focuses on individual growth, communication with parents and staff, and ensuring a safe, positive environment.

Requirements

• Swimming experience preferred
• In-depth knowledge of swimming and coaching techniques
• Knowledge of VISAA NFHS swimming rules
• Strong communication and motivational skills
• Ability to utilize technology (SwimCloud/Hy-Tek)

Responsibilities

• Support head coach with all aspects of swim program
• Determine individual swimmer abilities, strengths, goals
• Foster sportsmanship and promote individual growth
• Submit meet entries using SwimCloud or Hy-Tek software
• Maintain open communication with parents, students, athletic director
