💼 About This Role

You'll design and deploy advanced search and information retrieval systems for legal and professional intelligence platforms. You'll own the full lifecycle from research to production deployment, solving real-world NLP and IR challenges with direct global impact.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and deploy large-scale IR systems focusing on search relevance and ranking
• Own end-to-end NLP/IR model development, from research to production
• Develop evaluation frameworks for offline and online metrics
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and delivery milestones

📋 Requirements

• PhD in CS, AI, NLP, IR, or related field (or Master's with equivalent industry experience)
• 5+ years building and deploying production-grade IR and NLP systems
• Strong publication record in top-tier venues (e.g., ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, SIGIR)
• Proficiency in Python with PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
• Cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, AzureML)
• Legal-domain search/NLP experience
