Description

Join the Reporting team at Ridgeline to design and scale the infrastructure that powers operational reporting and internal data accessibility. You'll drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and lead cross-cutting initiatives like reporting engine rearchitecture and AI integration using modern tools like Claude Code and ChatGPT.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience including technical leadership of large-scale systems.
• Experience designing and evolving data-intensive applications in reporting or analytics domains.
• Proficiency with Python or Kotlin (both is a plus).
• Experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and building scalable event-driven services.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for cross-cutting initiatives like Reporting Engine rearchitecture, performance scaling, and AI reporting integration.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver impactful customer-facing features.
• Drive architectural decisions for reliable, performant, and extensible reporting systems.
• Establish engineering best practices in data modeling, distributed systems, and query optimization.
• Lead design reviews, guide implementation, and mentor staff- and senior-level engineers.
