💼 About This Role
You'll join the rendering team at Procreate in Hobart, building the next-generation rendering and painting engine for the fastest 64-bit painting engine on iOS. You'll develop custom GPU technologies and work directly with the CTO and product team. This role involves refining our graphics pipeline and extracting maximum performance from hardware.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Refine the graphics pipeline and engine architecture
- Allocate resources and solve performance issues creatively
- Develop next-generation low-latency, real-time systems
- Collaborate with product designers and engineers on graphics features
📋 Requirements
- Expert/specialist in C, C++, low-level programming
- Experience with CPU/GPU optimization and debugging
- Deep involvement with rendering pipeline development
- Familiarity with modern graphics APIs (Vulkan, Metal, DirectX11)
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience with Apple's Metal architecture
- Tool-based approach to profiling (RenderDoc)
- Mathematical background in linear algebra and trigonometry
