Description

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work directly with students in school settings, implementing behavior intervention plans and collecting data to help individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities build skills and independence.

Requirements

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain
• At least 18 years of age
• Associate's degree or 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100, or passage of ParaPro Praxis assessment
• Experience with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior therapy techniques in classroom settings
• Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plans
• Document interventions and progress towards goals
• Collaborate with teachers to support students
• Provide training and assistance to help students acquire skills
