You'll join Planet's Space Operations team to maintain and optimize the world's largest Earth Observation satellite constellation. Your core impact is developing critical software for satellite operations and translating large datasets into actionable metrics. You'll work hands-on with flight software, debug anomalies, and shape next-generation spacecraft strategies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct daily fleet checks and support on-call shifts
• Test and deploy flight software, debug satellite anomalies
• Create and maintain operational procedures
• Develop real-time, mission-critical software solutions

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Python proficiency for software development
• Data-driven mindset with statistical analysis experience
• DevOps concepts including Git, Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD

• Experience with GIS software like QGIS and GeoPandas
• Hands-on spacecraft operations experience
