You'll lead the Compute Team that powers all backend services, mentoring ~8 engineers and staying hands-on with production code. You'll drive architectural direction for scalable compute systems. This role combines leadership with deep technical work in a remote-first environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of ~8 software engineers.
• Drive architectural direction for the compute platform.
• Contribute hands-on to design and implementation of core services.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Backend teams.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering.
• 2+ years in technical leadership or engineering management.
• Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience building distributed systems with Golang.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, and service mesh.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK).
• Knowledge of CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
