You'll design and implement RESTful and gRPC APIs and cloud microservices for Plume's open smart home platform. You'll build real-time data pipelines and optimize system reliability for millions of locations globally.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful and gRPC APIs
• Architect and deploy scalable microservices in AWS/GCP/Azure
• Build real-time and batch data pipelines with EMR on EKS
• Optimize services for scalability, resilience, and high availability

📋 Requirements

• Scala, Go, or Java and Python proficiency
• Distributed systems and microservices experience
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes hands-on
• Akka Streams or Akka Actors experience

✨ Nice to Have

• Functional programming experience in Scala
• Caching layers, distributed storage, and message queues
• AI-powered developer tools (ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
