You'll be the technical anchor for the Channels division, bridging customer-facing dashboards and delivery engines. You will split time between division-wide technical leadership and hands-on work on critical projects, partnering with engineers and senior leaders to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience. This role offers the chance to shape the technical vision for a globally scaled messaging platform and mentor engineers at every level.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner on technical vision and quality bar for the division
• Drive large, ambiguous projects end-to-end across multiple teams
• Help teams evolve their stacks for sophisticated marketing use cases
• Champion reliability and operability through observability and error handling
• Write code: design and build foundational systems and frameworks

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience as a technical leader
• Comfortable working across the full stack with Ruby on Rails
• Proficient in modern frontend environments (TypeScript, React)
• Designed and shipped foundational infrastructure used by many engineers
• Strong architectural judgment and effective communication skills

• Experience building shared component libraries or design system primitives
• Experience with real-time systems or event-driven architectures
• Experience with developer experience tooling like code generation or CI/CD
