Description

You will be a key team member focusing on daily lab operations to support material process developments, failure investigations, and process control validation. You'll operate mechanical test frames and characterization instruments, perform mechanical testing, and maintain lab equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years hands-on materials testing lab experience
• Experience with thermal instruments or mechanical test frames preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
• Willingness to work off-shifts, overtime, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical test frames and characterization instruments
• Perform mechanical testing (tensile, fatigue, compression) on metals, polymers, or composites
• Support maintenance and calibration of lab instrumentation
• Summarize and document data results for engineering review
• Maintain lab safety, cleanliness, and 5S principles
