Requirements

• Minimum one year work experience in any field (e.g., retail, restaurant)
• Current or expired CNA license from any state, or HHA with one year direct home care experience
• Nursing students must have completed medical-surgical 1 clinical rotation
• Valid HHA certification or willingness to complete training program

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care
• Perform range of motion exercises and assist with ambulation and transfers
• Use mechanical lifting devices as needed
• Complete home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making
