You'll develop and validate simulation tools for sensor and vehicle modeling in autonomous systems. Your work will bridge simulation and physical deployment to optimize configurations for real-world performance. This role is critical for mission-critical applications at a defense technology company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop accurate models of sensors (e.g., LiDAR, cameras, IMUs) and vehicles.
• Validate simulation accuracy against real-world hardware performance.
• Build software tools for visualizing and analyzing sensor configurations.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization of sensor and vehicle setups.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Robotics, CS, EE, or related field.
• Proven experience in sensor modeling for LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GPS.
• Proficiency with simulation frameworks such as Unreal Engine.
• Strong C++ and Python programming skills for building simulation tools.

• Hands-on experience with physical sensors and their operational characteristics.
• Knowledge of optimization algorithms for sensor placement or system design.
