Description

You will identify and respond to security vulnerabilities across the Brex platform through code and design reviews, penetration testing, and vulnerability management. You'll develop tooling for automated security testing and collaborate with engineering teams to secure AI-driven financial features, ensuring customer trust.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Application Security or related role
• Ability to find vulnerabilities in complex systems with custom attack chains
• Experience in threat modeling, developer education, and incident response
• Knowledge of Python, scripting, and AI/agentic workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and demonstrate business impact to drive prioritization
• Perform penetration testing and design reviews
• Maintain and build internal security automation tools (SAST/DAST)
• Build a culture of security excellence through mentorship and learning sessions
• Work with engineering teams to design secure product features
