Description

You will design, build, and activate advanced manufacturing facilities, serving as the subject matter expert on HVAC, compressed air, piping, dust collection, and other critical fluid systems. This role involves CAD modeling, fluid analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 5+ years experience with fluids components (valves, pumps, compressors, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with fluid handling systems preferred
• Experience with HVAC systems and CAD (NX preferred) preferred
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends

Responsibilities

• Own and be the subject matter expert on fluid/HVAC components across campus
• Perform CAD modeling and design of fluid systems
• Conduct fluid analyses for pressure balance, component design, and consumables
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to meet requirements of production and other programs
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and reliable, supporting production transition
