You'll design and evolve large-scale distributed backend systems for Placer.ai's location analytics platform. You'll own services end-to-end, driving performance and reliability. This role offers the chance to work with a unicorn in a $100B+ market opportunity.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and evolve large-scale distributed backend systems
• Own services end-to-end from architecture to production monitoring
• Build infrastructure and data pipelines for ML and analytics
• Partner with Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years backend engineering experience in high-scale B2B SaaS
• Proven track record building production-grade distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in Python (or Java/Go/Node.js/.NET)
• Hands-on experience with data-intensive systems and complex pipelines

✨ Nice to Have

• Deep experience with Python and MongoDB
• Experience with Google Cloud data technologies (BigQuery, Bigtable)
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code
