💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team of project managers delivering environmental projects for Elk Valley Resources, a major Canadian coal mining operation. Your core impact is ensuring project outcomes meet business needs while managing scope, cost, and schedule. You'll work a compressed work week with alternating Fridays off in the beautiful Elk Valley.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Act as Project Director for a program of environmental projects
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to a team of Project Leads
• Complete financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the program
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and resource prioritization

📋 Requirements

• Degree in Earth Science, Engineering, Forestry, Biology, or related field
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience in a professional environment
• Professional accreditation such as PMP, RPBio, PAg, or P.Eng

• Technical knowledge in fisheries discipline and field monitoring
• Familiarity with provincial and federal regulatory approvals for instream works
