💼 About This Role

You'll design and validate the physical manufacturing system of an autonomous shipyard, developing building layouts and capacity models. Your work will enable automation-first production of next-generation maritime platforms while collaborating across engineering and operations. This role offers the chance to shape a greenfield facility from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop end-to-end shipyard layouts based on throughput and block construction strategy
• Define building footprints, clear heights, bay sizing, and crane coverage
• Establish square footage requirements for fabrication, assembly, and pre-outfitting
• Develop capacity and throughput models to support automation-first processes

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar
• 5+ years of experience in industrial facility layout or manufacturing system design
• Strong understanding of material flow optimization and bottleneck analysis
