Description

As a Technical Support Engineer at Sigma, you will join an award-winning team helping customers solve technical, business, and data challenges using the Sigma platform. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams to diagnose complex issues, drive solutions, and improve support operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years supporting enterprise data analytics products
  • Computer Science fundamentals
  • Strong SQL proficiency: JOINs, partitions, window functions, aggregations, CTEs, sub-queries
  • SQL query performance troubleshooting and plan generation
  • Proficient in data modeling and charting data into logical visualizations

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with customers and pre-sales team
  • Develop best practices and tools for issue diagnosis and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: backend, frontend, devops, design, product, go-to-market
  • Participate in quarterly projects and perform periodic on-call duties
  • Improve automation and processes
