Description

You will design, build, and maintain Android apps and SDKs in Kotlin for Stripe's Terminal devices, working with cross-functional teams to bring new features to mobile users and set best practices for Android development across the company.

Requirements

• Strong technical background with 2-6 years of Android development experience
• Prefers simple, scalable solutions over complex ones
• Thrives in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders
• Can create great developer and consumer experiences
• Experience with custom hardware on Android, payments, or backend infrastructure (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Android apps and SDKs in Kotlin
• Develop Android payment applications for various devices and form factors
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, designers, and stakeholders across the company
• Set best practices for Android development across the company
• Work with user research and product design to understand and address user needs
