💼 About This Role

You'll partner with the Medical Director to build a scalable pipeline for generating clinical intelligence using LLMs and generative AI tools. Your work will integrate external evidence with Atropos's real-world evidence platform, transforming healthcare research. This role sits at the intersection of clinical knowledge and AI.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain a scalable pipeline for clinical question answering
• Develop and curate a library of clinician and consumer questions
• Convert clinical questions into structured phenotypes or ontologies
• Source and integrate external content like studies and payer policies
• Produce reusable, well-documented code and content

📋 Requirements

• Daily hands-on practice with Python, R, or SQL
• Ability to iterate toward high-quality outputs through self-directed quality checks
• Working knowledge of clinical terminology standards (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED, LOINC, RxNORM)
• Ability to produce clean, reusable code and content

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with generative AI tools (Claude, GPT-4, Cursor, Copilot)
• Strong portfolio on GitHub, Kaggle, Hugging Face, or Substack
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
