Description

You will ensure every K2 spacecraft is designed, documented, and verified using rigorous, standardized processes. You will own the design reliability framework, lead design reviews, and serve as a key technical gatekeeper to enable teams to deliver exceptionally reliable flight systems.

Requirements

• Systems-minded engineer thriving on structure and rigor.
• Experience with design reliability frameworks and review processes.
• Ability to enforce design standards across an engineering organization.
• Background in spacecraft or high-reliability hardware development.
• Formal design review signoff authority experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standardized design review processes including templates, workflows, and review structures.
• Serve as design review signoff authority ensuring all designs meet internal and customer requirements.
• Drive creation, enforcement, and evolution of design standards across the engineering organization.
• Lead design verification standards ensuring consistent and traceable validation.
• Guide disciplined handoff to Build Reliability for manufacturing and test teams.
