Description
You will ensure hardware performance of Starlink equipment on aircraft by performing EMI/EMC analysis, design, and testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve compatibility issues and steer next-generation wireless systems for seamless in-flight connectivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in electrical engineering, physics, or other STEM discipline
- 1+ years of E3 work experience including EMI/EMC analysis, design, and testing
- 1+ years experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, etc.)
- 1+ years programming in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB
- Willing to work long hours and weekends, travel internationally as needed
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis and design for lightning, grounding, bonding, and electromagnetic effects
- Set requirements based on physics rather than industry standards
- Interface with EE, ME, DSP, and software teams to test and validate systems
- Characterize and solve EMI/RF problems from board to system level
- Support certification by performing EMI/EMC testing and documenting results
