Description

As a Construction Superintendent at SpaceX, you will oversee on-site coordination and execution of facilities construction projects. You'll work with engineers, project managers, and vendors to ensure projects meet quality standards, safety requirements, and deadlines. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
• 2+ years of experience leading coordination of multiple trades on site
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R, concrete, framing, and industrial gas trades
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends, provide 24/7 on-call support, and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facilities projects to ensure vendors meet standards and deliver promised services, materials, and craftsmanship
• Plan and direct construction activities of internal resources and subcontractors for each phase of construction
• Maintain accurate records of daily logs, progress reports, and financial reports related to construction
• Enforce contract expectations from subcontractors and communicate discrepancies
• Ensure safe work site by implementing safety requirements and enforcing OSHA regulations
